Here at MPMSVPA, we have had an increasing number of students express a desire to learn guitar. We are working hard to make these dreams a reality! With plans to offer multiple beginner guitar classes, we hope any student who wishes to learn guitar can join in on the fun! As a STEAM designated Title 1 school in rural middle Tennessee, our students deserve every opportunity to enrich their musical arts education. These supplies will create opportunities for students not only in the designated guitar classes, but in 5th Grade Music as well as the 6th, 7th, and 8th grade bands as supplementary learning. The sets of guitar strings will allow us to have instruments in working order for every student, and replacement strings so there is no gap in learning if a string breaks. The tuners and picks will aid the students in learning about proper guitar technique while giving them tools to practice independently at home. We are looking forward to creating a successful group of guitar players, and we thank you for your support!
