Sitting and actively learning in a classroom for 8 hours a day (other than lunch and recess time) is difficult for anyone, especially for 6-7-year-old students. I have chosen to focus this project on alternative seating for the kids in my classroom to allow them to move and wiggle to help them to better focus on the instruction. Students in my class love to work through problems on their own, and the whiteboards we use allow for them to do so and to easily fix their mistakes. The whiteboard materials I have requested will be used daily in our classroom.

About my class
