An activity that made a difference in my students' ability to solve linear equations in one variable was a Pixel Art activity using Google's platforms for education. My students loved being able to see pictures emerge from a blank grid by solving equations and using the values to unlock solutions. Learning from home is challenging, but students will adapt with the right supports and services.
