This year I started a program called Clash of the Chronicles. It is a "battle of the books" within our building. This was something I did at a previous building and as a result, we saw a huge jump in reading scores. Due to the school shutdowns last spring, the students in my school have lost a lot of ground in their reading scores. The scores were low before due to the make up of the students in my building, but now they are really low. This year I borrowed whatever titles I could find that had enough books in a set. Some of the books weren't very interesting. I'm requesting some books that will keep my students interested.
