Supplying our classroom with these resources will allow students the opportunity to move substantially more throughout the day. Many students crave movement as a way to help them focus, but the challenges of this unusual school year have taken away many of their opportunities to move around the classroom. With such a great focus on students' social and emotional learning, I have taught my students to reflect on what works best for them. Many of stated that movement and activity helps them to concentrate better. These chairs will allow students to get the extra movement that will increase their focus. While gaining a foundational understanding of the importance of their health, students will also experience the connection between the mind and the body!
