My students have been working hard on a research project about endangered animals. They had to choose an animal and are learning all that they can about their animal. At the end of our project, my class will vote on which animal they want to "adopt" for our classroom. Not only are they excited to receive our own "animal" for our room, but this will also help them learn about being generous and kind people. My students will be motivated and excited about their project because of this amazing opportunity to take ownership of their learning, and make a difference for endangered animals.
