We use computers daily to teach, reinforce and practice reading and math skills. Many of the programs we use are interactive and rely heavily on sound. Also, many of our high stakes computer-adaptive assessments for our younger students read the questions to students. Since our students work individually on the computer, it is necessary for them to use headphones. Headphones that function properly and fit well are essential for students to do their best work and have a productive learning experience. By providing these essential tools, students are provided their best opportunity to thrive and grow when using computer technologies.
