In Fifth Grade students typically are allowed to sing in choirs, but with the circumstances of COVID it is safer for the student and teachers to participate in Choir Chimes. Student can still wear their face covering to remain safe. I teach at two different schools every day, and we do not have the equipment to provide quality learning for either school. We do have a set of Choir Chimes in the classroom, but they are around twenty years old. Most chimes are dry rotting and falling apart. With the funds the Music Program receives we do not have the ability to repair them let alone have them replaced.
