The materials that I have selected will make a difference for my students in that they will be able to visually see how things work. Not only will this visualization help them to make a connection to what is being taught but they will also have a memory to attach with it. The Seafloor Simulation Kit would help students understand how different boundaries create landforms such as ridges, trenches, and island volcanoes. When introducing physics concepts about conservation of energy, I will use the K'nex rollercoaster kit to help demonstrate gravity, inertia and momentum.
