Hands-on learning ignites the fire within students! Art is the perfect example of this. However, in this virtual learning situation, many of my students only have access to basic supplies, and some find even those hard to acquire. Sculpture is a medium that challenges students and gets them thinking in a different way. I hope to gift my students with this experience through air dry clay. We will be sculpting animals and winter snowpeople to help brighten the long winters here in Wisconsin. I can't wait to see their faces when they get to pick up this supply in their take home bags!
