We have discussed fictitious experiments and I offered to let students plan for their own experiments. In their "bubbles" in school, or tuning in via Google Meet, students don't see a lot of growth. I would challenge them to set up experiments to watch over time. Being that it is on wheels, I would be able to move the grow cart to each of my 3 science classes. Light, growth, hope, excitement--these are the facets of learning I would like to support. There's no more group work, no more teamwork, always masks and distance, but growth can be made! Students will explore the effects of water, light, soil, on a variety of plants. They will be able to record the progress as they conduct true experiments that interest them.
