These materials will allow my students to remain focused and engaged in learning. A trampoline will provide my students the opportunity to take a brief break and release some energy. Having the ability to take a movement break is crucial for student success. Children are more likely to focus and pay attention if they are given the chance to exercise his/her body. Covid-19 has placed so many limitations and restrictions on students and their ability for move about in a classroom. We are unable to meet with partners or in any type of collaborative group. Students spend long periods of time at his/her individual desks. A trampoline would provide a wonderful outlet; it would promote physical as well as mental health, and maintain the guidelines of safe social distancing.
