A fast, updated computer will speed up the flow of the class and enhance student learning for both my face to face students and my virtual learners. Students today love technology! My students are competitive. A modern computer will allow students to work at their own pace by allowing me to run multiple programs from one computer. For instance, when I am trying to have a virtual meeting, it would be helpful to have the ability to operate a slide show or a game at the same time. This year, students are trying to catch up from months of virtual learning, and in order to catch up, I need to be able to streamline their lesson. Students shouldn't have to wait for me to restart my computer just to play a review game. Students shouldn't have to wait for a week before they can borrow my supplies to work on an interactive notebook. My students want to feel supported this year, but they don't. They have a lot of anxiety and would love to have some support.
