When challenged with teaching first grade on line my first reaction was fear. How was I going to accomplish this? Now that I'm three months into this, I can focus more on what can I do to make this the best experience possible for all of my kiddos. Being able to see eager faces while presenting a lesson will help me know who is following along, and who is feeling frustrated while I present phonics, reading and science lessons. Having a second monitor will allow me to both present the lesson and read body language. This is something that I have taken for granted in face to face instruction.

About my class
