I took on the role of STEM teacher at my school this year. Before, I was a second grade teacher. I graduated with my Masters in STEM education from Boston University in May 2019, so this seemed like a great step forward in my career. I was quickly thrown into a job of teaching all grade levels (K-5), having no set curriculum to base off of, and the challenges of teaching online and in person at the same time. I plan to use the funds to help support my students both in the classroom, and remotely. Students will be able to use the curriculum I purchase on a daily basis. It will give me access to thousands of materials I can use for ALL students (English Language Learners, SPED, behavioral).
