Flexible seating will allow my students to become fully engaged in their learning. Currently, I have no flexible seating in our classroom right now. I know I will have energetic kids that need an alternative seating plan to maximize their learning potential. I understand all students have a different learning style and am hoping flexible seating will help them to stay focused and on task. My students have P.E. once a week and for second grade this is hard on students. When students are allowed more mobility in the classroom the benefits that follow are meaningful to the entire classroom community. . Wobble Stools would allow my students to wobble, rock, and bounce, which will increase oxygen flow to the brain. It will help keep their young minds more alert and focused. Portable lap desks will allow students to sit and work in a more comfortable and relaxed way. The lap desks gives students an alternative to get away from their usual desk working area. Thank you for considering our classroom project.
