I teach in a Title I school where most of the students live in poverty. Most of my students lack the supplies they need daily in the classroom. Children learn through active engagement, and hands on activities. The Kindle tablets will allow the students to engage in individualized learning activities in reading and math. There are many activities, and apps that can be used to develop language and early literacy skills, number sense, and enhance learning in science and social studies. Since field trips are not possible at this time, the tablets will also provide virtual field trip opportunities.

About my class
