Currently my students are enduring a very hit and miss promethean board use (mostly miss), which makes their distance learning very difficult. My students need to be able to see and hear my lessons as well as ask questions regarding the material as easily as the face to face. My super hero face to face students loose many instructional minutes while attempting to put "band aides" on our current technology that we are using. If we were able to have a dependable Apple TV paired with an iPad as well as a Pen my students at home and face to face would have complete interaction in the lessons. This brings so much more comprehension as well as motivation from students in class and remotely. Many times in HS getting a student to put forth some of their effort to learn a skill is more than just getting them in class, these students need to be able to interact to learn. I just recently had to go back to a projector type "old school" endeavor to just get my kids their notes. Thankfully my students where able to roll with the problems and we are making it work with what we have. This is leading to many extra hours of preparation for my Special Education Students as well as my general education. I don't want bad equipment to hinder their learning. COVID19 has been hard enough on my students
