Our students really love our daily life skills sessions. Our life skills sessions are based on real-world circumstances that usually include hands-on, critical thinking and engaging projects that allow them to think outside the box to find solutions. We would like to continue to enrich our student’s lives by adding six new life skill materials. What Got Me Here? Facilitator Guide and Participant Journals will help students explore the consequences of past decisions and begin to learn skills for controlling anger, handling negative peer pressure, working with authority figures and strengthening family ties. Individual Change Plan Facilitator Guide and Participant Journals will help students create a personalized plan for targeting, developing and measuring progress toward their goals. Responsible Behavior Facilitator Guide and Participant Journals will help student’s focuses on the link between thoughts, feelings and behaviors. Handling Difficult Feelings Facilitator Guide and Participant Journals will encourage participants to identify their difficult feelings and how they connect to irresponsible behaviors. Relationships and Communication Facilitator Guide and Participant Journals focus on understanding and improving relationships.
