I am always looking for new and innovative ways to get my students excited to be healthy and fit. One way of doing this is to find fun new games that the kids love to play. Play and recreation is so important for students development and learning. Gaga Ball is a new and exciting game that I have taught the students to play but we need a GaGa Ball Pit. This game is a great way for kids to work on skills such as agility, striking, eye-hand coordination, reaction time as well as the most important skill of learning good sportsmanship. Gaga is a game not only where students can learn these skills, but they can also have fun while doing it. I want to provide the students the opportunity to play this game at other times besides Physical Education class. The students will be able to utilize the Gaga pit during recesses before school as well as after school throughout every day by all students! So it will be well utilized all year round! I would be so excited to add this new addition to our playground area.
