My students are hard workers who have the passion to succeed in reading. However, many come from homes without many books and games. Their only interaction with books come from the classroom or school library. Additionally, the only time my students have the opportunity to play board games may be at school. Reading games create an opportunity to play games while practicing skills the students have learned throughout the week.
