Currently in class we are using Pear Deck on Zoom to do distance learning. At this point, I use Pear Deck on my slides that allows the students to interact with the slides at all times during the lessons. It also allows me to monitor all students' work and give them real time feed back. In order to annotate while teaching, I use an XP-PEN board that is connected to my computer with a wire. The board allows me to write easily, neatly, and clearly, switching colors and fonts to make instruction more engaging for my students. We are going back to hybrid version of school in a couple of weeks, and I would need to switch my (wired) XP-PEN board with an iPad and stylus (wireless) in order to be able to effectively annotate on my interactive slides as I walk around the classroom to be able to connect with both online and in-person students at the same time. The tablet and stylus will be used in my classroom even when we fully go back to in-person school next year. It will allow me to successfully teach/annotate while projecting my slides on the board for the class without being stuck in front of the class. I would be able to teach and roam around the classroom at the same time so I can keep on monitoring students' work at all times.
