Virtual learning has given students, teachers and families such a new perspective on how best to meet our children's individual needs. In particular, writing has proven to give many obstacles in our first grade classroom. Two of the students appear to have an easier time writing within the Seesaw app that we are using to replace practice assignments that are normally on paper. When I asked them what gave them the ability to write so neatly and stay in the lines, they both said they use a stylus. If each student had a stylus, they might have an easier time developing those fine motor skills that are so important during the early years of learning. Please consider this project's need. Businesses could even include their logo on the stylus!!
