Students in my science classes are typically able to work on experiments and hands-on science learning in the classroom. Due to COVID-19, this must now be accomplished either virtually and with modifications in the classroom. At-home science kits would allow students in the physical classroom to complete hands-on experiments with me while allowing my students at-home access to materials that would allow them to learn hands-on as well, even at home. Both hybrid and virtual students would have access to hands-on science experiments, like testing and identifying different rocks and minerals, calculating density, identifying substances, and investigating and separating mixtures.
