I am a Pre-K teacher at the Head Start Program which serves children from low income families and they really need resources for virtual learning. Each week, I provide craft and art materials to my class because they enjoy hands-on learning which is why I will place these materials in their educational packets. The items that I chose for my students are things that they absolutely need for their at home experience in the activities usually done in school. Any item that will not be put in their educational packets is shown to them through the screen and used to organize the other resources given. I will give them materials to put crafts together that will improve their fine motor skills and allow them to experience things hands-on. They will use their imagination to add a twist to what I will do and each project will be unique based on the artist's (student's) personal preference. I think these projects are necessary to keep the children engaged and learning. There are many different ways to learn one thing which is why I try to use many techniques to see the ones that my students learn best with and I have seen that these projects work well in class and provide the students with a fun way to learn and show their creativity.
