Thank you for supporting students! The books _Just Mercy_ ,(by Bryan Stevenson), _March_, (by Representative John Lewis), and _Hidden Figures_, (by Margot Lee Shetterly), will help my students learn the vocabulary and background knowledge necessary to explain how people can help each other. My students are kind-hearted people who want the world to be a better place! They love reading about people who overcome difficulties and help others! Students are working on developing a teen Ted-Talk that will showcase their research into a problem and how people can help. Social justice and kindness are always important topics for my students. Finding ways to help others inspires them!
