Currently, one of the classrooms is under construction. The roof is being replaced. We also had some difficulties with mold and mildew so many of the instruments and other classroom supplies have been destroyed. I hope that many of these supplies will help to refurbish the band room. Students will be able to use the music boards for rhythmic practice in the classroom. They will be able to write on them with the dry erase markers and check for understanding during instructional learning. Containers, bins, and other storage will help keep the band room clean so that students are not distracted by resources and supplies being scattered around the room. With the conductor's guide, I will be able to see what music the students are reading in order to help fix and problems within the music or on instrument fingerings. Classroom books that need to be returned will be checked in and out like library books. The students will be held accountable for the belongings within the classroom and at home!
