Without a copy in each student's hand, doing a book study on this title will be an impossible task. When we do a book study, like the one we will be doing the entire 3rd quarter of the school year, we are dissecting the novel while learning about language, imagery, literacy devices and so much more. In addition to hearing a great story, we are also learning about the ancient Greek civilization and their gods. Learning history through literacy is a fascinating and engaging way to learn the material rather than taking the standard textbook path.

About my class
