My special need students need a MacBook Pro so that they can engage in their class activities without interruptions. During our distance learning, we constantly get disconnected, poor connections, and other issues because we do not have a quality device. Additionally, my special need students will benefit from a MacBook Pro because they will be able to engage in our zoom classroom more just like they do in school. They will be able to develop social-emotional skills like more self awareness, self management, social awareness, build relationship skills, and learn how to make responsible decisions as we do distance learning on a reliable device. Now that they are doing distance learning, it is hard for them to learn and develop those skills because they are not around other students physically. So with a MacBook Pro, it will facilitate their learning tremendously.
