I teach in Jefferson Parish Public Schools, and the visual art building is a separate cottage from the primary school complex. We recently were hit by a category four hurricane, and the roof of the house sustained considerable damage, and I lost technology due to water damage. I am trying to replace the lost items, specifically a printer, and an external DVD drive. The system-issued Chromebooks do not have internal DVD drives, so in order to play from my library and project the films onto a screen, I need to replace the ruined external DVD drive. And because printer ink is so expensive, and my annual allotment for basic classroom supplies is very limited, I was hoping to order some to last me for this academic year.
