This project will impact the culturally diverse population of third grade elementary students. It will be through virtual collaborative book studies with students learning from home. Reading guides, discussion circles, opportunities to ask and answer each other's questions, build on skills, and making connections through awareness of social and or emotional topics. As the third grade teacher, I will virtually facilitate in their book studies using these book collections and materials obtained from Teachers Pay Teachers. Reading is key to making better leaders of tomorrow in hopes that they too will take care and become productive citizens. Help me help them become better readers and leaders of the future.
