Many of our students working remotely are struggling with mental health issues. Some have younger siblings that they care for while not in school. Some have jobs to help financially with family expenses that have incurred due to the pandemic. Some are just emotionally overwhelmed with the Covid and have lost family members or are too scared to come to school. This book could be a tool to help them overcome issues teens face whether they read it independently or we hold a zoom session together as a book talk.
