My students are amazing - hardworking, smart, and they give their best everyday. We need the ability in our virtual Chemistry classes to write chemical equations, formulas and do scientific diagramming, and to be able to change the script based on student questions. Currently, when a student asks a question that requires me to write or draw something out, I do it on the video sharing software and many times my students can't even read what I've written, and the handwriting to text conversion is so poor. In chemistry, with all the subscripts and superscripts involved, typing things out is not an option - it takes too long during real-time virtual classes. Having a high quality tablet and writing device will make a huge difference in how our classes are conducted, and my ability to change the script and respond to student needs, as they arise.
