My students are second graders in an inner-city, low-income school. They are spunky, full of energy and eager to learn every single day. Even though their home lives hinder their success at times, their positive spirits and optimism to learn overpower their backgrounds. They inspire me every single day by showing me the importance of staying positive and living every day to the fullest. It is amazing how children can change your outlook on life, but these students teach me more about life than anything else ever could.

About my class
