Students will be able to make social connections in novel ways with students they may not otherwise socialize with through musical communion. This allows students to grow in their social-emotional learning while also growing in their musical knowledge. These drum circles can be set up during lunch, during enrichment activities, within the music classroom and outside of it. The will be available to all students within the school. I am wanting to spread the positivity of my music students to the whole school by purchasing a class set of world drums that can be used for drum circles as a means of building community through music at our school.

About my class
