The use of flexible seating would be a daily use for all students when they return to the school building. Students will be grouped into differentiated instruction groups while social distancing. It is important that children have the opportunity to move but remain safe while doing it. Therefore, flexible seating allows them to wobble, rock, bounce, lean or stand, which increases oxygen flow to the brain, blood flow and core strength. The classroom environment should be conducive to open collaboration, communication, creativity, and critical thinking. Flexible seating will allow the students to have access to this while also social distancing.
