The materials and items for this project go deeper than providing for our classroom needs. Education is about more than school supplies in the classroom. It is about caring for students as children. This holiday season, the materials in this project will help students to have a festive experience at home. The hot chocolate and popcorn can be enjoyed by the students as they keep warm over the holiday break. The holiday ornaments can be decorated to each student's liking and hung somewhere in the house to celebrate the season. The book can be read by students and families as they spend more time together at home. Each student will also receive a Pete the Cat board game to play with family or siblings! By donating to this project, you will bring holiday cheer to each child and their family through reading, games, and art! This school year as brought many unforeseen challenges, and we are all in this together. This project is one way that we can support our young learners and help them to have a happy winter break while home for the holidays.
