I would like to be able to provide as many visual arts learning opportunities as possible for students and to expose them to a wide variety of art media. Most of these materials are quickly exhausted and, with a limited budget, can not easily be replaced or are just too expensive to purchase. With the current social unrest on their doorsteps, I have designed an art project that will give students an opportunity to speak their minds and hearts through visual arts, and project panel boards will serve as a base for the student's work. Our students take pride in their work and learn the importance of producing high quality work at every stage from production to presentation. Much of our equipment is very old and needs to be replace. The priority is to replace the equipment that is most important in helping students achieve their learning goals. The old cutting board no longer cuts and so a new cutting board large enough to handle the larger pieces of student work is at the top of this list.
