When returning to school, students will be provided a "care" package with supplies that are frequently requested. I am requesting supplies including a mechanical pencil, hand sanitizer, tissues, highlighter, post it notes, stylus pen, and headphones. Students will not need to worry about the transfer of germs, because the supplies will be individually packaged in a pencil holder, and it is theirs to keep. They can always be prepared for class. The additional keypads and chargers are to prevent student travel back-and-forth to the media center. More often than not, students will charge their phones instead of the required iPad for school.I like to have additional chargers in the classroom so that students do not have the excuse not to do their work. Some students require keypads for typing, but they were not provided with the iPad. Having a couple of keyboards on hand in the classroom will limit the travel in the hallways, and it will help to prevent the spread of germs. The anti fog face masks, face shield, clicker, and desk shield will allow me to focus clearly on my instruction. They will also aid in the prevention of germ transmission. The AirPods will allow me to focus more clearly on my students' questions and comments when I am providing instruction from home. At times, discussions with students need to be confidential, so the conversation should not be heard by other members of my family who are working or schooling at home. Having designated work AirPods will avoid this potential issue.
