With all of our teaching and learning fully virtual, this project will give me the resources to give students a truly full experience while learning online.
These supplies will help me be able to scan and upload additional resources and materials to my students. Since COVID it has been difficult to provide students will the with reading and writing materials that they need to be successful. A scanner and printer will help me ensure that all students have access to the classwork. I will be able to print and mail additional reading materials for students who need it. Being at home and on the computer for 8 to 10 hours a day has increased the number of migraines that I have gotten and added additional strain to my eyes due to being completely virtual. In order for me to be able to lesson plan accurately, attend coaching sessions and teach and prep for classes, I need a solution that will reduce the migraine
and strain on my eyes. The glasses will help me be the best I can for my students.
Since COVID, I have had to use additional outlets at home.
Additional outlets will help me stay safe while at home. I plan on building a music club and use more visuals in class. Using a additional speaker will help improve the sound quality over zoom and help support students that receive private musical lessons from me.
Technology is a barrier in great teaching online, and these materials will help ensure that I am able to give students the experience they deserve.
Further, I spend many more hours preparing high quality materials and plans to deliver these lessons. While virtual learning is no replacement for in-person learning, these additional resources will help me by making it easier
