At this time, my students are engaged in remote learning. As a result, they do not have access to appropriately leveled books at home. It is so important that beginning readers are given a wide variety of books at their level to foster interest and a love of reading. I want to provide many titles of engaging fiction and nonfiction emergent readers in four different kindergarten levels so that I can accomplish this for every student in my classroom, no matter where they are in their learning. My students will have these books in their personal book bags once they return to in-person learning. In the meantime, they will be able to access these books through a pick-up and return system our school has put in place to get books and materials in students' homes. I can't wait to see the excitement on their faces when they get their hands on all of these leveled books!
