I teach close to 60 - 1st students in Spanish. This is their first exposure to the Spanish Language. Math manipulatives are very critical to their learning process, especially when learning it in a second language. Students will use these materials to build number sense and math concepts. This is my first year teaching in the United States (I come from Peru). With this being my first year teaching, I do not have the math manipulatives that are necessary for my students. I appreciate any help that anyone can give to my student's learning.
