My project is focused on learning about the different cultures around the world, and the ones present inside our classroom. I want my students to be able to celebrate their uniqueness and love their neighbors for what makes them special as well. This project will allow the teachers to read and explore the stories through our Zoom classroom, and share the pictures. When the students come back into the classroom they will have access to all the books and dolls so they can incorporate them into our pretend play area. My lessons will focus on what makes us the same as well as what makes us different, celebrating each of those things! Seeing books and talking about kids with extra abilities will help my students talk about any questions they may have and learn how to help those around them.
