Our school offers a Montessori style of learning, which directly impacts the differentiation of learners in Special Education. Whether students are using traditional seating methods to complete work, or sitting on the floor using a yoga mat, the materials requested could provide the flexibility for my students to choose how they want to learn. White boards, art supplies, nontraditional forms of seating, and physical reading/math-manipulatives provide different forms of learning unique to each individual student. Many students come to school seeking a safe learning environment. At a young age, some students might not recognize in themselves how successful they can be. Help me encourage and inspire young minds in the world of education!
