My students are so engaged in music class, but need a literacy boost! I know they already feel musically successful every time I see them, so I want to encourage and emphasize their literacy skills, as well! My goal is to truly have my students be engaged and interactive with musical literature in a way that they will learn both musical concepts and history, but enhance their reading levels simultaneously! Students can create their own stories this way, sing them, and end up writing it out themselves! Please help me help THEM!!
