Everyone deals with stressful situations in life. As Dean of Culture, one of the areas I deal with on a daily basis is calming students down. I have requested materials that will help individuals calm down and deal with the stress they are currently feeling. Whether it is a student or teacher, the materials requested will have a tremendous effect on returning that person to a more balanced and centered perspective. The stress balls, fidget sensory toys, liquid motion bubbler, and anger management posters will have a very calming outcome for my students. The standing desk converter allows my students to work in the room without sitting down. Many students cannot sit still in the calming process and this will allow them to still work, while they are returning to a more calm-like, peaceful state of mind.
