My inclusion classroom becomes a second home to these students and a safe place for them to turn to throughout the school day. As a teacher of exceptional learners, I implement various flexible options for my students, and it has made a world of difference. With comfortable seating options, like wobble chairs and floor cushions, students have the choice in where they would like to focus or reset to be successful for the school day. My students love to work in a variety of locations in our room such as: sitting under tables with a book, or sitting or laying on the floor. Making sure students are comfortable is an essential component in keeping them focused. The students feel empowered and seen when they are provided with a choice in their learning. The products that I have selected will help my students by giving them additional seating options to make more effective learning choices. The wobble stools are adjustable and will allow students to sit at higher tables but will still allow some movement. These will be extremely beneficial for some students that seek out that sensory output. The comfy floor seats and the beanbag chair will allow for additional comfortable floor seating options. They are lightweight and portable.
