Learning how to locate information outside of technology is practical and beneficial in regards to future skills. Instead of asking Siri, Google, or Safari, we need independent thinkers that can problem solve outside of the realm of technology. We need hands-on practice because instant gratification doesn't help understanding. Sometimes, the effort is needed to truly understand the significance of a word, a definition, or even the background associated with language. We need better dictionaries and thesauruses for our students. Help me teach them the value of a book, the value of effort, and the value of learning.
