In our classroom, the majority of the day is spent playing, discovering, and creating, both inside and outside. Because my students are toddlers, it can sometimes be difficult to keep them engaged throughout a lesson or play time. It is even more difficult when it is too cold to go outside and we are limited to our indoor resources. The Wheely Bugs, coaster, ball pit, and rocking boat will promote large motor skills, coordination, balance, and sharing. These materials will give students fun opportunities to engage with one another and our indoor learning space. My students are very rambunctious and love to move, so my co-teacher and I chose these materials to encourage students to keep moving, even if we cannot go outside and our space is limited.
