These books will be used as resources for the students during every school day. Each student will have books on their reading level available to them at the desks to read through during the day. These books will help them learn to read their high-frequency words as well as using picture cues to decode words that are unknown. Half of the students are Spanish speaking and therefore the bilingual picture books will help them recognize words in Spanish and see the English translation of it. They are so excited to dive into books and begin reading!
